Welcome to the School of Art and Visual Studies! Today's orientation will introduce topics relating to student success, campus art/design resources, student wellbeing, community, career opportunities, and academic degree programs at SA/VS. Each team has been assigned specific areas to explore and report back on.
Identify and pursue avenues and activities to engage with the University of Kentucky community.
Describe and evaluate their new collegiate learning environment and how to utilize campus resources to aid academic success and personal growth.
Recognize personal and social issues (e.g., alcohol, health and wellness, financial wellness), articulate healthy behaviors, and identify strategies to address these issues.
Examine individual backgrounds and experiences and recognize the value of engagement with your Wildcat community.
Engage in career planning and professional development opportunities.
